Shirdi Sai Ashtotramala – Meaning, Meditation and Miracle 

Day - 18:  “Om Shri Sai Sarva  Dharaya Namaha.”

            

Meaning: 

Humble salutation to the one who supports the entire universe. 

Meditation: 

From a measurement of trillions billionth part of a millimeter, (the size of an electron) the measurements go up to trillion trillions of kilometers, (the size of a cluster of Galaxies) measured in light years. That is the dimensions of Universe. Each electron, each atom,each planet, each star,  each Galaxy, and each cluster move at incredible speeds; with incredible accuracy, with incredible regularity in time, with incredible happenings and coincidences. It appears all these macro and micro dances are programmed with great precision and accuracy of space and time appearing to be in a complex chaos.

Scientists say that one in billion planets alone can have conditions like earth to support life. And yet, they also say that there can be a million planets on which life could be there.

Who, what supports this wonder called Universe? Which is the force that regulates them? This great question was answered by our philosophers thousands of years back, by understanding the soul as “ Aham Brahmasmi” and the universe as the manifestation of the “Brahmam’s thoughts.

Baba said “Be wherever you like, do whatever you choose, remember this well that, all what you do is known to Me. I am the Inner Ruler of all and seated in your hearts. I envelope all the creatures, the movable, and immovable world. I am the controller, the wire- puller of the show of this Universe. I am the Mother- origin of all beings- the Harmony of three Gunas, the propeller of all senses, the Creator, Preserver and Destroyer. Nothing will harm him, who turns his attention towards Me, but Maya will lash or whip him, who forgets Me. All the insects, ants, the visible, movable and immovable world, is My body or form. (Shri Sai Satcharita, Ch: III).

Baba also said,” There will never be any death or scarcity, regarding food and clothes in My devotee’s home. It is my special characteristic, that I always look after and provide for, the welfare of those devotees, who worship Me whole- heartedly with their minds ever fixed on Me”. . (Shri Sai Satcharita, Ch: VI).

The basis of Universe, with all its life and movement is the Brahmam.

He sits in our hearts and rules the Universe. Without Him nothing exists. He is Sarva  Dharaya.
