Day -60. “Om Shri Sai Ashakya Rahithaya Namaha.”

Shirdi Sai Ashtotramala – Meaning, Meditation and Miracle

Day -60. “Om Shri Sai Ashakya Rahithaya
Namaha.”

Meaning:

Humble salutation to Him, for  whom nothing is impossible. (Shirdi Sai Trust).

Meditation:

What are the basics of this Universe, our Earth, and our lives?

How do we see them existing and functioning?

Why every one of us go through what we go through and call it as life?

Our Rishis and philosophers found the answer.

They found that all these basic questions are answered by understanding Space and Time and how they are related to Brahmam God or Guru. That is why they used various terms as Trikala Gnani, Gyan Dhrushti, Antharyami, etc, when referring to the attributes of  Brahmam God or Guru. These are indicative of their control over Space and Time.

The one who can be at anywhere in space,  at anytime, past present or future! This means a lot. For Him, He can see what I going to happen for a group of miners in a deep mine and rescue them if He so desires. He can see now how New York will look like 500 years from now and what will be its occupants and what they will be doing! This is what we ordinary people are trying to achieve in various activities and efforts. Our Astrologers try to help us look into future and try to change the course of events that affect our lives. The ones with the “Psyche” vision to tell what happened in the past (time winning) and at a distant place (space winning). Scientists since Einstein have understood the importance of space and time and trying to understand how they function and relate to what all happening to our universe. Much earlier, through the Power of Meditation, Our Rishis understood that for the one who wins time and space nothing is impossible as everything that happens is dependent on Time and Space. Mountains melt, oceans become desert, Emperors come go and vanish from History, Stars and Galaxies are born, grow and vanish into Blackhole over Time.  The Brahmam God or Guru is Permanent and all pervading.  Nothing is Impossible for them.

In the year 1910, Baba was sitting near the Dhuni on Diwali and warming Himself. He was putting fire-wood into the Dhuni, which was burning brightly. A little later instead of pushing logs, of wood, Baba pushed His arm into the Dhuni. His arm was scorched and burnt. This was noticed by the errand boy Madhav and also by Madhavrao Deshpande ( Shama). They at once ran to Baba and Madhavrao clasped Baba by His waist from behind  and dragged Him forcibly backward and asked ,”  Deva, why you have done this? Then Baba came to His senses  and replied,” The wife of a blacksmith at some distant place was working the bellows of a furnace, her husband called her, forgetting that her child was on her lap, she got up hastily and the child slipped into the furnace. Immediately thrust My hand into the furnace and saved the child. I do not mind My arm being burnt but, I am glad that the life of the child is saved”. (Shri Sai Satcharita, Ch: 7).

Sitting at Shirdi He saw the child falling into fire and wanted to save its life. How and why He saved is only know to Him.  We see Him everywhere, any time! He can be. Because He is Ashakya Rahithaya.
