Commanding Respect-

These are some of the qualities which members of a family expect the Head of the family, the Father to possess.

A Father has all responsibilities to his dependants in which all these qualities will find their application sometimes or other in the continuity and existence of the family.

If these are the qualities required to run a family, what would be the qualities required to run a community, a nation, the world or the universe?  May be we will not be able to know fully all the qualities required of the Father who has the responsibility to ensure, the continuity and run the world.

He should be having these qualities in infinite quantity- infinitely kind, infinitely protective infinitely strong, infinitely intelligent and so on..

Him we can bow down as the Father of the universe, which includes our world as a dust in the ocean. When He manifests Himself before us, we find all or anyone of these qualities which takes us by awe and we call Him, Avatar, Guru, God, Brahmam and Bhagwan.

Baba said:

“Be wherever you like, do whatever you choose, remember this well that, all what you do is known to Me. I am the Inner Ruler of all and seated in your hearts. I envelope all the creatures, the movable and immovable world. I am the Controller- the Wire puller of the show of this universe. I am the Mother- origin of all beings- the Harmony of three Gunas, the Propeller of all senses, the Creator, Preserver and Destroyer. Nothing will harm him, who turns his attention towards Me, but Maya will lash or whip him, who forgets Me. All the insects, ants, the visible, movable and immovable world, is My body or form”.

Baba also said:

“There will never be any dearth or scarcity, regarding food and clothes in My devotee’s home. It is my special characteristic, that I always look after and provide for, the welfare of those devotees, who worship Me whole- heartedly with their minds ever fixed on Me.”

A great astrologer, named Nanasaheb Dengle, told Bapusaheb Buti, who was then in Shirdi. “Today is an inauspicious day for you, there is danger to your life”. This made Bapusaheb restless. When they as usual came to Masjid, Baba said to Bapusaheb, “ What does this Nana say? He foretells death for you . Well, you need not be afraid. Tell him, “Let us see, how death kills” Then, later in the evening Bapusaheb went to his privy, for easing himself, where he saw a snake. His servant saw it and lifted a stone to strike at it. Bapusaheb asked him to get a big stick, but before the servant returned with the stick, the snake was seen moving away and soon disappeared. Bapusaheb remembered Baba’s words of fearlessness. (Shri Sai Satcharita- Ch: 22).

A gentleman from Harda by name Dattopant, suffered from stomach-ache for about fourteen years. None of the remedies gave him any relief. Then on hearing Baba’s fame, that He cures diseases by sight, he ran to Shirdi and felt at Baba’s Feet. Baba looked at him kindly and gave him blessings. When Baba placed His hand on his head and gave him Udi with blessings, he felt relieved and there was no further trouble form the malady. (Shri Sai Satcharita- Ch-13).

To His devotees He has manifested infinite knowledge, kindness, and protection, thus taking care as a Father would, not only to themselves but to the whole world and the universe. He is Jagat Pitre.
